What we store
Your email address and a Firebase account id. The profile you enter — height, weight, birth year, sex, activity level and goal — because there is no way to compute a calorie target without it. Every meal you log and its estimated nutrition, but not the photograph it came from. Your subscription status and how many scans you have used this month.
Your photographs
A meal photo is sent to OpenAI to be analysed, and we do not keep it afterwards. Nothing is written to storage, which is why your history shows a meal and its numbers but no thumbnail. Photos are not used to train any model — OpenAI's API terms do not permit training on API data, and we do not opt in to anything that would change that. If we ever start keeping photographs, this page will say so before it happens.
Who else sees it
OpenAI processes meal photographs and, if you ask for a coach review, the daily totals for that period. Google Firebase holds authentication and the database. Stripe or Google Play handles payment, depending on where you subscribed, and we never see your card. Nobody else, and we do not sell anything to anyone.
Deleting it
Delete everything yourself at plateful.today/delete-account, or from Account in the app — it removes your profile, meals, photographs, weight log and coach reports immediately. Anonymous billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. Questions: contact@digitalnative.vip.
This is a food diary
Plateful estimates nutrition from photographs and computes targets from standard formulas. It is not a medical device and it is not advice. If you are managing a health condition, are pregnant, or are considering a significant change to what you eat, talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian.
